Learning Objectives

  1. At the end of Step One, identify at least two ways past incidents are impacting present-day negative beliefs about oneself, address younger unmet needs through healing self-expression.

  2. At the end of Step One, describe each stage in Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, understand how expectations of others contribute to the experience of failure, and examine ways breaking free of expectations can pave the way for personal success. 

  3. At the end of Step Two, list the ten principal boundaries and indicate the role they play in a person’s mental, physical, social, spiritual, and overall well-being.

  4. At the end of Step Three, define Energetic Boundaries and explain three methods of strengthening Energetic Boundaries, including confronting unconscious beliefs in daily interactions.

  6. At the end of Step Three, define emotional wounds and emotional incest and list the three types of vulnerability. Describe how boundaries differ in Healthy Empathy, Unhealthy Empathy, and Compassion.

  7. At the end of Step Three, employ Energy First Aid techniques to manage boundary intrusions and reinforce real-time awareness of emotional boundary limits.

  8. At the end of Step Four, define Guilt and Toxic Shame. Identify at least two things that make them feel guilty and at least one self-label resulting from toxic shame.

  9. At the end of Step Four, Practice using “the trilogy” exercise to own toxic shame and clear negative core beliefs.

  10. At the end of Step Four, identify at least two negative core beliefs about oneself resulting from toxic shame. Locate the origins of these beliefs by tracing them through the individual history of socialization and family dynamics.

  11. At the end of Step Four, list at least four reasons why it is difficult to say “No” and determine at least one reason to justify why the practice of saying “No” is a core task in re-learning boundaries.

  12. At the end of Step Four, practice saying “No” in three guided visualization exercises, exploring personal confidence level internal beliefs that pose barriers to mastery.

  13. At the end of Step Five, define Compassionate Detachment (CD) and differentiate it from the energetic merging that can be mistaken for intrusive empathy and draining compassion.

  14. At the end of Step Five, describe how negative thoughts threaten energetic boundaries, using the dagger analogy and bubble metaphor.

  15. At the end of Step Five, list at least six benefits of meditation and explain how structured meditative practice (Pathways Meditation) heals and strengthens energetic boundaries.

  16. At the end of Step Five, describe basic Quantum principles of energy and spiritual systems as external energy systems and illustrate how these external energy systems offer guidance in navigating energy boundaries.

  17. At the end of Step Five, recite the Beginning of the Day Meditation to practice strengthening boundary protections and alignment with personal intentions.

  18. At the end of Step Five, recite the End of the Day Meditation to practice the removal of daily negative intrusions into personal energetic boundaries.

  19. At the end of Step Six, identify the inner voice through the intuition exercise, and complete practice five questions to strengthen confidence and trust in recognizing intuition.

  20. At the end of Step Six, define Soft Karma and describe how to Practice two apology prayer exercises to aid in the clearance of Soft Karma.

  21. At the end of Step Six, define Hard Karma. Review at least two types of suffering that can aid in the clearance of Hard Karma and identify at least two acts of service that can contribute to the clearance of Hard Karma.

  22. At the end of Step Seven, explain symbolic definitions of Mandala, an internal guide for Meditation. Recite Mandala Meditation and identify at least one hypothetical situation in which this may be used to heal or enhance energetic boundaries.

  23. At the end of Step Seven, create a visualized protection shield to enhance boundary protections and identify at least one hypothetical situation in which this may be used.

  24. At the end of Step Seven, create at least two personal requests to integrate into expanded Pathways meditation and identify at least one day to use this in the coming week.

  25. At the end of Step Seven, complete at least two Work or Personal Requests to integrate into expanded Pathways meditation and identify at least one day to use this in the coming week.
